A free first module of the W.I.S.E. Method for educators who want to teach with more steadiness, clarity, and sustainability

Teaching is not only about content, strategy, or classroom management. It is also about the state of the teacher.

Inside this free pillar, you’ll learn how your nervous system shapes your teaching, your classroom climate, and your students’ access to learning.

You’ll get access to:

  • A foundational lesson on teacher regulation
  • A bonus segment called When Life Is Heavy

What is W.I.S.E.?

W.I.S.E. is a teacher development framework designed to support more human, sustainable, and instructionally strong classrooms.

It is built on four pillars:

  • W — Wellness-Informed
  • I — Innovation
  • S — Systems
  • E — Excellence

This free first pillar introduces the foundation of the method:

W : The Regulated Teacher

Because before better tools, better planning, better systems, and better assessment, there is one thing that shapes everything else:

The state of the teacher.

Meet the Educator Behind W.I.S.E.

Hi, I’m Luisa Acevedo, an educator, teacher trainer, and creator of the W.I.S.E. Method.

I created this teacher professional development framework to support educators who want to build classrooms that are more human, more sustainable, and more effective, especially for multilingual learners.

My approach combines:

  • classroom experience
  • teacher support
  • multilingual learner advocacy
  • practical teaching tools
  • and a wellness-informed lens that takes the teacher’s nervous system seriously

Because teachers do not only need more strategies. They need a system that supports the human being who is teaching.
